With eight ensuite bedrooms and able to sleep as many as 28 people, Cabin Fever Vacation is ideal for your next reunion, church retreat or multi-family vacation. The lodge has more to recommend than sheer space, however. It also boasts its own private indoor swimming pool, an outdoor hot tub, a game room which includes a pool table, air hockey table, an arcade game machine, a foosball table, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
First, let’s take a look at those bedrooms! Each includes a large flat-screen TV, rustic yet refined furnishings and a private bathroom. Two of the ensuite bathrooms features a shower and tub combo while the other six ensuite bathrooms have a stand-up shower. After a day spent hiking, biking or keeping up with the kids at Dollywood, you’ll relish a restorative shower or bath in your own suite.
Seven of the eight bedrooms feature a luxurious king-size bed and four of the bedrooms include a futon as well. The eighth bedroom has queen-size bunk beds, enabling it to accommodate four people. The kids will love it! There is one last futon in the game room area as an added convenience for the kids to rest and play. Speaking of convenience, the cabin has its own washer and dryer as well.
While the bedrooms serve as restful retreats for always-welcome private time, the lodge’s other rooms are large enough for everyone to spend time together. Take the main floor great room, where large windows let in plenty of sunshine, accentuating the luster of the wood-planked walls, floor and ceiling. You can nestle on the sectional sofa and watch TV, enjoy après-ski drinks by the fireplace and sprawl out on the rug with the kids for a game of Candyland. This welcoming space was made for kicking back and hanging out.
The great room also encompasses the dining area. With two large tables and a breakfast bar, the dining area can seat a crowd—no need to eat in shifts. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with a full complement of stainless-steel appliances, cookware and tableware. Even if you eat your main meals at one of the numerous local restaurants, you’ll still love the convenience of having a coffee maker for your morning wake-me-up and a refrigerator to keep wine and soft drinks cold.
The upstairs family outdoor room above the swimming pools is another spacious and comfortable gathering spot. It’s home to a large space for sitting and sharing stories. For those who prefer playing there is a setup for a game of corn-hole.
Cabin Fever Vacation sits among the towering trees of Pittman Center area, also known as the quiet side of the Smokies and is strategically located on the backroads to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Its two covered rear decks, which span the width of the home, allow everyone to revel in the crisp mountain breeze, the singing of wrens and warblers during the day, and the tranquility of the star-studded sky at night. Bring a beverage outside, sit back in a rocker, and take a deep breath. Relaxation is practically guaranteed. Another option is to admire the views from the steamy bubbles of the lower deck’s hot tub.
As idyllic as Cabin Fever Vacation is, you’ll probably want to explore at least some of the local attractions during your visit. Pigeon Forge is roughly a 12-15 minute drive where you can attend numerous attractions along the Pigeon Forge Parkway, including the Titanic Museum, Alcatraz East and Dolly Parton’s Stampede. Gatlinburg is roughly a 15-20 minute drive whith attractions such as Ripley’s Believe it or Not, Guinness World Record Museum, Anakeesta, and Ober Gatlinburg. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is about 20-25-minute drive away.
When you stay at Cabin Fever Vacation, you’re certain to make mountain memories that will last a lifetime. Book your reservation today. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

This home was perfect for our group! The large kitchen table allowed for group meals and games. The private pool and hot tub were a welcome place to relax and the upstairs game room and corn-hole on the covered patio for added entertainment and enjoyment. Perfect location midway to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, but for us the amazing Tennessee roads for great riding.Karin W. – 09/03/2023
We stayed at Cabin Fever but first I need to share that the management company, Smoky Mountain Cabins of Tennessee was awesome to work with and frankly saved our vacation! The week before our trip (week of July 31) the cabin was sold and the old management company was being very difficult but Shaun from Smoky Mountain Cabins was extremely helpful and was the reason we could still go on this trip. He went above and beyond to help us have this trip and we had a wonderful time. We had 21 people celebrating my husbands birthday and with that many people is is usually difficult to please everyone. This cabin made everyone happy! There are 8 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Most bedrooms have king beds with the exception of the bunk room which was a queen sized bunk. Several of the bedrooms also had a futon which was great especially for those with young children in our group. The kitchen and living room worked for us and are open to each other which was helpful to see the view off the back deck. Upstairs there is a pool table, foosball, air hockey and an arcade game which was so helpful to keep the children occupied so the adults could relax. There are also 2 Tv's upstairs which the kids used one for playing video games and the other for watching movies. The pool is detached from the house but is accessible by the deck and was a huge hit with everyone. There were pool toys and the pool was well maintained. There is a pavilion type deck above the pool where my husband and brother in laws played cornhole (which was provided) practically every evening. One evening just before dusk we were pulling into the neighborhood and saw a bear which was a treat! We are so grateful to have this amazing vacation and would stay at this cabin again in a heartbeat. Aside from that, whenever we come back to TN with other groups of people we will definitely call Smoky Mountain Cabins of TN since we know the trust we can have in them and the level of service they provide.Missy W – 08/31/2023
Comfortable and fun Rented the cabin at last minute after our reservation that was made nearly two months after was cancelled due to water pipe busted. Customer service was very friendly, helpful, considerate and thoughtful. We had a great time a group of 20 adults and 2 small children . Cabin was spacious and had lots of fun things within. Only real issue was that The first floor ac was not working well, it was cooler at times more outside then inside, but the ceiling fans helped a tad to not become a huge issue. Thank you for having us!Michelle A. – 08/11/2023
